Welcome to XOBO. As an AI-powered customer growth platform, we process data to help you understand your customers, run WhatsApp marketing campaigns, and manage loyalty programs. This privacy policy informs you about how we look after your personal data and the data of your customers when you use our services.

2. Data We Collect

We collect different kinds of personal data to provide our services effectively. This includes:

  • Account Data: Your name, email, billing address, and business details when you register for a XOBO account.
  • Platform Data: Data related to your use of our features, such as WhatsApp campaign performance, QR code scans, and loyalty program configurations.
  • Customer Data: Information you import into our CRM regarding your customers (e.g., phone numbers for WhatsApp marketing, purchase history for loyalty points). Note: You remain the data controller for your customers' data, and we act as the data processor.
  • Technical Data: IP address, browser type, time zone setting, and device information.

3. How We Use Your Data

We only use your data when the law allows us to, primarily to deliver our SaaS features:

  • To authenticate your access to the XOBO platform.
  • To process and deliver WhatsApp marketing messages on your behalf via the WhatsApp Business API.
  • To train our AI models for customer sentiment analysis and automated feedback generation (using anonymized, aggregated data only).
  • To process payments and manage billing for your subscription.
  • To provide customer support and notify you of important platform updates.

4. Data Sharing & Disclosure

We do not sell your personal data. We may share your data with trusted third parties strictly to facilitate our services:

  • Meta / WhatsApp: For routing and delivering WhatsApp messages.
  • Payment Processors: Such as Stripe or Razorpay for handling subscription billing securely.
  • Cloud Providers: Such as AWS or Google Cloud for hosting our infrastructure and databases securely.

5. Account Deletion & Data Retention

You have the right to request the permanent deletion of your XOBO account and all associated data.

  • How to Delete: You can initiate account deletion from your Dashboard settings under "Security & Privacy", or by emailing support@xobo.io from your registered email address.
  • What Happens: Upon deletion, all your personal Account Data, campaign history, configured loyalty programs, and imported Customer Data will be permanently erased from our active databases.
  • Retention Period: Data is completely wiped within 30 days of the deletion request from our active servers and subsequent backup cycles.
  • Exceptions: We may retain certain transaction data (like billing invoices) for longer periods as required by tax and accounting laws.

6. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures, including data encryption in transit and at rest, to prevent your personal data from being accidentally lost, altered, or accessed in an unauthorized way. Access to your data is limited to employees and contractors who have a strict business need to know and are subject to a duty of confidentiality.
